Long Answer

Answers will vary; these responses include some possibilities your students might include.

1. The first thing I would do is ensure I fostered good relationships between the staff and myself so that every person feels important. One way I could resolve the problem is to lead by example and demonstrate the way I wanted my staff to behave. I could spend more time being present with my staff to ensure they are following through with work.      If I had to correct a staff member, I would highlight their positive qualities, reassuring them that those qualities will aid in their corrective action. I would let staff members choose the best way to behave in the workplace and invite them to outline their expectations for me. Finally, if all else fails, I would present challenges to my staff to motivate them. (Various chapters)

2. The message of the book is to be well-liked, one should consider other people’s wants and needs instead of their own.
